From May this year Easyjet will run three weekly flights (Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) from Gatwick to Antalya, using new Airbus A320's due to arrive at the airline's Gatwick base this spring.
Low cost airline easyJet announced plans to introduce four new routes to Turkey from its base at London Gatwick this Spring. The services will be operated by the new Airbus 320 aircraft that will arrive at the airline’s biggest base this spring. Taking the total number of Gatwick based aircraft to 41 and increasing the choice of routes available from the airport to 83.
Easyjet's new route from Gatwick to Antalya is a huge testament to the growth potential of Turkish tourism, and will boost occupancy of holiday rental properties in the area substantially.
